For VENNER, we were brought on for a photography project centred around the launch of their new space. The direction was to document the atmosphere and overall experience in a way that felt welcoming, relaxed, and true to their approach to casual Nordic dining, highlighting both the food and the environment as part of a cohesive story.

The shoot was designed to emphasise mood and ambience, showcasing the warmth of the space, the energy of the team, and the natural flow of service without feeling staged. Alongside hero dishes, we placed equal importance on the in between moments that give VENNER its character, capturing interaction, movement, and detail that reflect the lived in nature of the restaurant. The final imagery was created with press and launch materials in mind, offering a versatile visual set that communicates both the intimacy of the dining experience and the broader identity of the space.
