For Shop B, we were brought on for a focused photography project centred around the launch of their new menu. The direction was to hero the dishes in a way that felt elevated yet approachable, capturing the essence of casual dining without over-styling the food. We introduced human elements throughout the shoot, using hands and natural interaction to bring warmth and movement into the imagery, while intentionally avoiding faces to keep the focus on the food and atmosphere. The visual language was built around a slightly moody tone, working with the venue’s dark, black-surfaced interior to create depth and contrast, while still allowing the dishes to feel vibrant, fresh, and full of life.
