BRAND IDENTITY
OVERVIEW
For ROOTDOWN, we were brought on from the very beginning to develop the full brand identity, shaping a complete visual system that extended across logo design, typography, and a modular identity suite. This foundation was then applied across all brand touch points including menus, business cards, packaging, uniforms, and merchandise, creating a cohesive and considered brand world from launch.
The identity itself was built around a minimal, chic aesthetic balanced with warmth, mirroring the design language of the space. The venue combines cold, industrial materials with natural textures, and this balance informed a refined yet inviting atmosphere that extends through both the environment and the offering, from specialty coffee to a thoughtfully curated food menu.
This balance was also carried through into the content and digital presence. We produced photography and videography, developed the social media strategy, and designed the website to reflect a consistent blend of cool and warm tones, alongside a day to night versatility. As a cultural destination, ROOTDOWN quickly positioned itself as an “it” space within the city, attracting a fashion led audience and hosting events with brands such as Adidas and Wales Bonner, alongside music driven programming rooted in soul and hip hop.
